Power of non-violence

In India people mostly like those freedom fighters who used violence as their weapons at the time of Indian freedom movement. Chandra Shekahr Azad, bhagat Singh, Lala lajpath rai, and Subhash Chandra bose like people are the real heroes of India. They have dreams in their heart but failed to convert the dream in reality even then they are very inspirational among the people and current generation, because they have vision and very passionate about their work. They told the country people how important are our dreams.

Well there are others who also played a great role in Indian history who use different spirit and are very passionate too (in their work).Among them we have our great saint and freedom fighter and who told the nation to go towards the path of non violence. He is Mahatma Gandhi, there is a short story about his preaching, which i want to mention here

One day a man came to Mahatma Gandhi and told that he killed a Muslim child. Gandhi ji asked him: Why? He replied: “because his child was killed in Hindu Muslim struggle”. Gandhi ji then asked: “then why are you telling me this? you have taken revenge from Muslims now you are satisfied”. The man said: “I am going to kill another Muslim I am not satisfied because I love my child very much. Gandhi ji then said to the guilty person that if you want to satisfy yourself then its better not to kill anyone because you will never satisfy. Then again he asked "what he should do". Gandhi ji smiles and replied if you want to satisfy yourself then there are many children who are alone in life, who do not have their parents, you take one child with you and care him, you will feel satisfaction. And you will again become happy as you were earlier. After listening to him he salutes him and leaves his "ashram”. He didn't kill anyone and adopted one child.

That is the power of non violence you cannot get satisfaction until you listen to your soul.

I AM THE I IN INDIA

The day I was born in this country, this country also born in me.

I can feel it running through my guts when I’m angry and throbbing through my veins when I’m glad. I am India and India is me.

Starting today, I have decided that I will not point figures at anyone any more. Instead, those fingers will be pointed at me.

I am the system that does not work. I am the pothole on the road that does not get filled. I am the "FIR" that does not get filled. I am the bridge that does not get built.

Everything that's wrong with this country starts with me and will soon end with me.

JAI HIND!
